After the death of his wife Emily, William went to live with his sisterAnnie until his death. He never remarried and was buried in HastingsMemorial Cemetary. The plot was destroyed by a freak storm in 1990. Theheadstone and grave site were never found.
Emily died at age 32 of pnuemonia.
